Hours of Operation
Capitol Building:
Monday–Saturday: 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00–5:00 p.m.
Capitol Square Grounds:
Open daily: 6:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
Visitor Entrance (Year-Round):
1000 Bank Street, Richmond, VA 23219 (opposite 10th Street)
General Assembly Building:
Monday–Friday: 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

During General Assembly Session:
Public entry remains through the Bank Street entrance plaza. Tours may be adjusted to accommodate legislative meetings.
Tunnel Access:
Connects the Capitol and General Assembly Buildings.
Open 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
