Public Parking (Deck): 9th & Franklin Street Parking Deck (credit/debit only; take your ticket with you for re-entry; no overnight parking).
Hours: Mon–Fri 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. (excluding state holidays)
Saturday: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 12:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
Rates: $5/hour or $20/day
How to find it: From Main St., go north on 9th St.; just past the Bank St. light, the deck entrance is on the left.
Closest ADA entrance to the Capitol Square grounds: opposite the deck at the historic Capitol Bell Tower.
ADA-accessible pedestrian entrance to enter the Capitol building: stay on the north sidewalk along Bank Street and proceed to the entrance plaza opposite 10th Street.

Bus and Other Large Multiple-Passenger Vehicles
Load/Unload: 1000 Bank Street (access via 12th or 14th St.). Area is one-way and space is limited (construction) pull close to the Visitor Center entrance.
Exit Route: After unloading, exit via 10th Street.
Coordination: Group leaders should maintain direct phone/text contact with drivers; buses cannot park on or next to Capitol Square.
Bus Parking: Use the Department of General Services Fleet lot, 2400 West Leigh Street, Richmond, VA.
ADA Accessibility for the Capitol and General Assembly Building
Private vehicles with handicap placards or plates can unload passengers on Bank Street near the public entrance at 10th Street. Five parking spaces zoned for handicapped drivers are located on the north side of Bank Street, between 10th and 12th streets, with a two-hour limit.
The building has wheelchair accessible restrooms, ramps, and elevators. There is barrier-free access on all floors. If you need additional assistance, please ask security or Capitol Police, who will be present as you enter the building.
